The brand's website and email newsletter report on food and drink trends in the categories of dining, wine, cocktails, cooking and food travel. Geoff Bartakovics
Geoff Bartakovics (born 1977) is an American businessman and entrepreneur. He is the cofounder and CEO of Tasting Table, a digital media brand targeted toward influential foodies. Bartakovics is also a board member or advisor to a number of other digital brands and start-ups, including Trigger Media Group, Inside Hook, Pixafy and Gathered Table. Before launching Tasting Table in 2008, Bartakovics was a business manager in asset-backed finance at UBS Investment Bank. He studied English literature at the University of Chicago, and studied comparative literature and philosophy at the University of Hamburg as a Fulbright Scholar. John McDonald is a restaurateur and entrepreneur based in New York City. He is the founder and CEO of Mercer Street Hospitality, and co-founder of Tasting Table Media. Career McDonald began his career in nightlife with MercBar and went on to open restaurants including Canteen, Lever House, Lure Fishbar, Bowery Meat Company, El Toro Blanco, Burger & Barrel and Chinatown Brasserie. In 2002 McDonald co-founded the Mexican restaurant Dos Caminos with Steve Hanson of BR Guest Restaurants. He was bought out in 2007 when Starwood Capital purchased all of BR Guest. Pittman was the CEO of MTV Networks and the cofounder and programmer who led the team that created MTV, and is the cofounder of iHeartMedia and Casa Dragones Tequila.
