Tarun Mansukhani
Tarun Mansukhani is a Bollywood director and writer. His most popular film to date would be Dostana produced by Karan Johar starring Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham and Priyanka Chopra. Born into a Sindhi family, he was educated at the Lawrence School, Sanawar. Beyond the world of film, Mansukhan directed a television commercial entitled "Lead India" to promote voting at the national elections. This was produced by Dharma Productions Dharma Productions Pvt. My Name Is Khan
''My Name Is Khan'', is a 2010 social drama film directed by Karan Johar and written by Shibani Bathija and lyricist Niranjan Iyengar. It was produced by Hiroo Yash Johar and Gauri Khan under their production companies, Dharma Productions and Red Chillies Entertainment, respectively, in association with Fox Star Studios and Fox Searchlight Pictures, both of which made their Indian film production debuts with the former acting as distributor. ''Drive'' is a 2019 Indian Hindi-language action-heist film written, edited and directed by Tarun Mansukhani and produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta under Dharma Productions. Starring Sushant Singh Rajput, Jacqueline Fernandez, Vikramjeet Virk, Sapna Pabbi, Pankaj Tripathi and Boman Irani the story of the film revolves around the manhunt for an infamous 'King' for a robbery of 300 kilograms of gold. An undercover agent infiltrates a street racing gang who is chasing the King. The film was scheduled to release on 7 September 2018, but was pushed to 28 June 2019, ultimately to not see a theatrical release. It was directly released on Netflix on 1 November 2019. It marked the last film of Rajput before his death on 14 June 2020.
