Tartaro-Canalbianco-Po di Levante (Latin: Tartarus) is a river of north-east Italy. It is the only river whose course runs between the Adige river and the Po river and flows into the Adriatic Sea. The first part of its course, whose length is from resurgences to Torretta, flows in the province of Verona and in the province of Mantua and is known by the name of Tartaro. The second part of its course, whose length is from Torretta to Volta Grimana, flows in the province of Rovigo and is known by the name of Canalbianco or Canal Bianco (meaning ''White Canal'' in both Italian and Venetian). The third and final part of its course, whose length is from Volta Grimana to mouth, flows in the province of Rovigo and is known by the name of Po di Levante (meaning ''Eastern Po''). Mincio
The Mincio (; Latin: Mincius, Ancient Greek: Minchios, ''Μίγχιος'', Lombard: Mens, Venetian: Menzo) is a river in the Lombardy region of northern Italy. The river is the main outlet of Lake Garda. It is a part of the ''Sarca-Mincio'' river system which also includes the river Sarca and the Lake Garda. The river starts from the south-eastern tip of the lake at the town of Peschiera del Garda and then flows from there for about past Mantua and into the river Po. Adria (river)
Adria (Greek: ') was a former channel of the Po river delta, passing by the town of Adria, that ceased in the 1st century BC. This river was mentioned by Hecataeus, by Theopompus and by Ptolemy. Gazzo Veronese
Gazzo Veronese is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Verona in the Italian region Veneto, located about southwest of Venice and about south of Verona. Gazzo Veronese borders the following municipalities: Casaleone, Nogara, Ostiglia, Sanguinetto, Serravalle a Po, Sorgà, Sustinente and Villimpenta. The economy is mostly based on agriculture. History Gazzo's area was inhabited since the 4th millennium BC, but the modern settlement has Lombard origin. Its name derives in fact from the Lombard ''gahagi'', meaning "wood". Adria is a town and ''comune'' in the province of Rovigo in the Veneto region of northern Italy, situated between the mouths of the rivers Adige and Po River, Po.
