Tarma Province
The Tarma Province is a Peru, Peruvian province, making up one of the nine provinces that conform the Junín Region. To the north it borders with the Junín Province, the east with the Chanchamayo Province, the south with the Jauja Province and the west with the Yauli Province. The region has an area of , which represents the 6.2% of the departmental territory. It is located in a position privileged, touristy and economic, halfway between the capital and the high forest, and point of convergence of various routes towards the central forest. The climate is temperate and mild during most of months predominates. Acobamba District, Tarma
Acobamba or Aqupampa (Quechua language, Quechua ''aqu'' sand, ''pampa'' large plain, "sand plain") is a Districts of Peru, district in the middle of Tarma Province in Peru. It is bordered by districts of Tarma District, Tarma, La Unión District, Tarma, La Unión and Palcamayo District, Palcamayo on the west, Huasahuasi District on the north, districts of Palca District, Tarma, Palca and Tapo District, Tapo on the east, and districts of Tapo District, Tapo and Tarma District, Tarma on the south. Provinces Of Peru
The provinces of Peru () are the second-level administrative subdivisions of the country. They are divided into Districts of Peru, districts ( es, distritos, links=no). There are 196 provinces in Peru, grouped into 25 Regions of Peru, regions, except for Lima Province which does not belong to any region. This makes an average of seven provinces per region. The region with the fewest provinces is Callao (one) and the region with the most is Ancash Region, Ancash (twenty). While provinces in the sparsely populated Amazon rain forest of eastern Peru tend to be larger, there is a large concentration of them in the north-central area of the country. The province with the fewest districts is Purús Province, with just one district. The province with the most districts is Lima Province, with 43 districts.
