''Tarkieb'' is a 2000 Indian crime drama film directed by Esmayeel Shroff and produced by Jay Mehta. It stars Nana Patekar, Tabu, Shilpa Shetty, Aditya Pancholi, Milind Soman and Ashutosh Rana in pivotal roles. The film was shot in Panchmarhi. Plot A clothes washer girl finds a hand in a creek where she was washing clothes. She and other clothes washers nearby gather together and summon the police. After an investigation, the police find various parts of this body, and determine it to be that of a young woman. They do not succeed in finding the head of the corpse, and a check with missing persons produces negative results. When Inspector Pyare Mohan, who was assigned to this investigation, receives a threat by an anonymous caller on the phone, he recommends that this file be closed. Esmayeel Shroff (12 August 1960 – 26 October 2022) was an Indian film director and writer, noted for his work in the Bollywood industry. His hit film ''Thodisi Bewafaii'' was famous among the crowd of the 1980s. The movie was written by his brother, ''Moin-Ud-Din''. Aadesh Shrivastava
Aadesh Shrivastava (4 September 1964 – 5 September 2015) was a music composer and singer of Indian music. Initially, he had worked as a drummer to music composers including R. D. Burman, Rajesh Roshan before working independently as a music director. Over the course of his career, he had composed music for over 100 Hindi films. Just a day after he turned 51, he died of cancer in Kokilaben Hospital. Career Born in a Hindu Kayastha family in Katni, Shrivastava got his first big break with the film ''Kanyadaan'' in 1993. Jay Mehta is a former Indian actor, who primarily worked in Hindi films and an Indian television producer, who works in soap opera. He is the managing director and creative head of Jay Production. He is the son of Hindi film producer late Pranlal Mehta. Career Jay Mehta was launched by Priyadarshan in '' Muskurahat'', produced by Pranlal Mehta, the remake of Malayalam blockbuster ''Kilukkam'' opposite Revathi, but the film was termed as a box office disaster.
