Tarini Prasad Koirala
Tarini Prasad Koirala ( ne, तारिणी प्रसाद कोइराला; 30 April 1922–1974) was a Nepalese politician, journalist, writer belonging to the Nepali Congress Party and the Koirala family. Koirala was born into a politically powerful family, the son of Krishna Prasad Koirala and brother of Prime Ministers of Nepal Bishweshwar Prasad Koirala, Matrika Prasad Koirala and Girija Prasad Koirala. Koirala was active in politics and was a pioneer of the Nepalese labor movement along with his brothers in Srinagar. Later his brother B. P. Koirala and the Nepali Congress party were swept into power in the country's first democratic election. He was in the forefront of the leaders who took part in 1947 Srinagar jute mill strike along with Girija Prasad Koirala, Yuvaraj Adhikari Man Mohan Adhikari. Koirala Family
Koirala family ( Nepali: कोईराला परिवार) is one of the prominent political families of Nepal in the Republican Era. The family was founded by Krishna Prasad Koirala, a Rana Era socio-political activist who was exiled to Bihar, India by then Prime Minister Maharaja Chandra Sumsher. Many of the family members have remained prominent figures in the Nepali Congress party since the country's first democratic movement. Four members, three of them brothers (Matrika Prasad Koirala, B. P. Koirala and Girija Prasad Koirala) and their maternal cousin Sushil Koirala, have been Prime Minister of Nepal. The Nepali Congress ( ne, नेपाली कांग्रेस ; abbr. NC) is the largest social democratic political party in Nepal. As per the results of recent local election, ''Nepali Congress'' stands as the single largest party of Nepal at all levels of government. It is the current ruling party of Nepal since July 2021. With more than one million active members, the party remains the largest party in Nepal by membership. There have been seven Nepali Congress prime ministers and the party has led the government fourteen times. Krishna Prasad Koirala
Krishna Prasad Koirala ( ne, कृष्णप्रसाद कोइराला) was a politician, activist and social worker of Nepal. He was the founder of the prominent Koirala family. Three of his sons became prime ministers of Nepal. He was a Hill Brahmin living in exile in Bihar. He had five sons and four daughters. Bishweshwar Prasad Koirala ( ne, विश्वेश्वरप्रसाद कोइराला; 8 September 1914 – 21 July 1982), (Nepali: 1971 B.S. Bhadra 24 - 2039 B.S Shrawan 6)better known as B. P. Matrika Prasad Koirala ( ne, मातृका प्रसाद कोइराला ; 1 January 1912 – 11 September 1997) was the Prime Minister of Nepal for two terms from 16 November 1951 to 14 August 1952 and again from 15 June 1953 to 11 April 1955. Girija Prasad Koirala
Nepal Ratna Girija Prasad Koirala ( ne, गिरिजाप्रसाद कोइराला ; 4 July 1924 – 20 March 2010), affectionately known as Girija Babu, was a Nepalese politician. He headed the Nepali Congress and served as the Prime Minister of Nepal on four occasions, including from 1991 to 1994, 1998 to 1999, 2000 to 2001, and from 2006 to 2008. He was the Acting Head of State of Nepal between January 2007 and July 2008 as the country transitioned from a monarchy to a republic. Yuvaraj Adhikari ( ne, युवराज अधिकारी) (1920-1983) was a Nepalese politician belonging to the Nepali Congress Party (NCP) . He was in the forefront of the leaders who took part in 1947 Biratnagar jute mill strike along with Girija Prasad Koirala, Tarini Prasad Koirala, Man Mohan Adhikari He was among the six National Congress leaders i.e. Bishweshwar Prasad Koirala, Girija Prasad Koirala, Tarini Prasad Koirala, Gehendrahari Sharma, Manmohan Adhikari who were taken to Kathmandu as the prisoners of conscience from Biratnagar via the land routes.
