Tarini Desai ( gu, તારિણી દેસાઈ; born 22 December 1935) is Gujarati short story writer from Gujarat, India. Life She was born on 22 December 1935 at Baroda (now Vadodara) to Sudhaben and Rudrapratap Munshi. His family belonged to Petlad. She completed her primary and secondary education from Baroda. She completed B. A. in Philosophy and Psychology in 1957 from M. S. University and M. A. in Entire Philosophy from Wilson College, Bombay. She also obtained diploma in Indian classical music in 1956. She edited ''Kyarek'', a literary magazine. She married Sudhir Desai, Gujarati poet and critic, in 1955. They have a son, Sanskar Desai and two daughters, Sanskritirani Desai and Dhvani Desai Dhvani Desai is an Indian animation filmmaker, curator and poet. Vadodara
Vadodara (), also known as Baroda, is the second largest city in the Indian state of Gujarat. Radheshyam Sharma (5 January 1936 – 9 September 2021) was a Gujarati language poet, novelist, short story writer, critic and compiler from the state of Gujarat, India. He is known in Gujarati literature for his experimental novels ''Fero'' (1968) and '' Swapnatirtha'' (1979). His other significant works include ''Aansu Ane Chandaranu'' (1963), and ''Gujarati Navalkatha'' (with Raghuvir Chaudhari; 1974), a work of literary criticism on Gujarati novels. Sharma was awarded the Gujarati literary honours Ranjitram Suvarna Chandrak, in 2004, and Dhanji Kanji Gandhi Suvarna Chandrak, in 1995. Gujarati Sahitya Parishad () is a literary organisation for the promotion of Gujarati literature located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. It was founded by Ranjitram Mehta with the aim of creating literature appealing to all classes of society and cultivating a literary sense among the people.
