Tarin Jahan
Tareen Jahan (born 26 July) is a Bangladeshi actress, model and singer. In 1987 or 1988, she stood first at the reality television competition program Notun Kuri for acting, dancing and storytelling divisions. Since then she started working on television as a child artist. She won Meril Prothom Alo Awards in 2006, 2007 and 2012. Early life Jahan came first in the acting, dancing, and storytelling category in Bangladeshi talent hunt ''Notun Kuri'' in 1985. She took classical music lessons from Hasan Ikram Ullah. Seeing Jahan's interest and enthusiasm for dancing, her mother, Tahmina Begum, would send her daughter to Tapan Das Gupta to learn dancing at the age of three and a half years. Tarin Kowt
Tarīnkōṭ ( prs, ترين کوت), also spelled as Tarin Kowt, is the capital of Uruzgan Province in southern Afghanistan in the Tarinkot District. Tarinkot city has a population of 71,604 (2015), with some 200 small shops in the city's bazaar. In Tarinkot district, two major Pashtun tribal confederations are represented, Tareen tribes: Popolzai, Barakzai, Nurzai, Achakzai; and the Ghilzai tribes: Tokhi, Hotak. There are no medium or large-scale economic enterprises in the city. The provincial governor, currently Asadullah Hamdam, lives and works in a compound adjacent to the bazaar. Muhammad Habib Khan Tarin (1829-December 1888), Risaldar-''Bahadur'', CSI, was a cavalry officer of Tarin descent, who lived in the Hazara region on the Punjab Frontier, in British India. Background Muhammad Habib Khan was the son of Karam Khan, settled at Talokar (village), near Haripur town, in the Hazara region In 1849, after the conclusion of the Second Anglo-Sikh War of 1849, the Punjab and its Frontier were annexed by the British and Major James Abbott (Indian Army officer) was sent as the Hazara's first Deputy commissioner. Khan Abdul Majid Khan Tarin (also spelt Abdul Majeed Khan) (1877–1939), Khan-Sahib, OBE, was a prominent magistrate, MLA and philanthropist of the North West Frontier Province of former British India.
