Tarek El Ali
Tarek Ahmad El Ali ( ar, طارق أحمد العلي; born 6 February 1986) is a Lebanese former footballer who played as a forward. Club career Nejmeh El Ali signed for Lebanese Premier League side Nejmeh's youth team on 4 August 2003. He began his senior career aged 17, in 2004–05. In his only season at Nejmeh, El Ali helped his side win the league, the Elite Cup, and the Super Cup. Mabarra In 2005 the Lebanese forward moved to Mabarra, staying seven seasons at the club, until 2012. El Ali won the Lebanese FA Cup with Mabarra 2007–08, the club's first, and competed in the 2009 AFC Cup. On 5 May 2009, El Ali scored his first AFC Cup goal against Iraqi club Erbil. Al Ahed Football Club ( ar, نادي العهد الرياضي, lit=The Covenant Sporting Club) is a football club based in Ouzai, a district in Beirut, Lebanon, that competes in the Lebanese Premier League, the top flight of Lebanese football. Erbil Sports Club ( ar, نادي أربيل الرياضي, ) is a sports club based in the city of Erbil, Kurdistan Region that plays in the Iraqi Premier League, the first-tier of Iraqi football. The club is also known as "Yaney Hewlêr", the Kurdish name for Erbil. 2021–22 Lebanese Premier League
The 2021–22 Lebanese Premier League was the 60th season of the Lebanese Premier League, the top Lebanese professional league for association football clubs since its establishment in 1934. The league started on 11 September 2021 and ended on 4 June 2022. It was the second season to feature a "split" format, following its introduction in the 2020–21 season, in which the season was divided into two phases. Ahed won their eighth league title undefeated. The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) section of the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualification saw 43 teams competing for 4 or 5 berths in the final tournament in Brazil. As in recent tournaments the AFC had four direct qualifiers for the finals tournament in addition to a further possible place via the intercontinental play-offs against CONMEBOL's fifth-placed team, which was chosen through a random draw, rather than being decided by FIFA beforehand as in previous tournaments (e.g., 2010 against a team from OFC, 2006 against a team from CONCACAF).
