Tarciane Karen dos Santos de Lima (born 27 May 2003), simply known as Tarciane, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a central defender for Corinthians and the Brazil women's national team. Club career Tarciane was born in Belford Roxo, Rio de Janeiro, and joined Fluminense's youth setup in 2019, from a local project called ''Daminhas da Bola''. She immediately started to play with the main squad, while also featuring for the under-18 team. On 21 June 2021, Tarciane asked to leave ''Flu'', and signed for Corinthians until the end of 2022. On 16 December 2022, she renewed her contract until 2024. International career After representing Brazil at under-17 and under-20 levels, Tarciane was called up for the full side by manager Pia Sundhage on 22 September 2022, for friendlies against Norway and Italy. 2022 South American Under-20 Women's Football Championship
The 2022 South American Under-20 Women's Football Championship was the 10th edition of the South American Under-20 Women's Football Championship ( es, CONMEBOL Sudamericano Femenino Sub-20), the biennial international youth football championship organised by CONMEBOL for the women's under-20 national teams of South America. It was held in La Calera, Chile from 6 to 24 April 2022. The top two teams of the tournament qualified for the 2022 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in Costa Rica as the CONMEBOL representatives. Brazil were the defending champions having won the title in 2018 since the final stage of the 2020 edition ended up being cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic and consequently there was no champion for that year. The South American Under-20 Women's Football Championship (Spanish: Campeonato Sudamericano Sub-20 Femenino) is an international association football competition for women's national teams. It is held every two years for South American players under the age of 20 and serves as a qualification tournament for the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup. In its inaugural year, 2004, it was played by U-19 players. The last edition was held in 2022 in Chile. Brazil has won all the competitions with 9 titles in total.
