Taran Kozun
Taran Kozun (born August 29, 1994) is a Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender. He is currently playing with the Coventry Blaze in the UK's Elite Ice Hockey League (EIHL). Playing career During the 2014–15 WHL season while playing with the Seattle Thunderbirds, Kozun was awarded the Del Wilson Trophy as the WHL's top goaltender and was named to the WHL Western Conference First All-Star Team. After three seasons playing with Canadian University hockey with the Saskatchewan Huskies, claiming back-to-back U Sports Goaltender of the Year accolades, Kozun returned to the professional circuit in the ECHL, joining the Kansas City Mavericks on October 28, 2020. After 1 game stints with the Mavericks, Indy Fuel and Rapid City Rush, Kozun was traded by the Rush to join his brother, Tad, at the Orlando Solar Bears on February 10, 2021. Coventry Blaze
Coventry Blaze are an ice hockey team based in Coventry, England. They currently compete in the British Elite Ice Hockey League (EIHL) and play their home games at SkyDome Arena. The club was founded in 1965 as the ''Solihull Barons'' and renamed to ''Solihull Blaze'' in 1996. At the turn of the millennium the club relocated to the SkyDome Arena, Coventry and became ''Coventry Blaze''. Blaze have won four Elite Ice Hockey League Championships since the formation of the league in 2003. The 2014–15 WHL season is the 49th season of the Western Hockey League (WHL). The regular season began on September 19, 2014 and ended on March 22, 2015. The Nipawin Hawks are a Canadian junior "A" team based in Nipawin, Saskatchewan. They are members of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL). They play their home games at the Centennial Arena, which has a seating capacity of 1,500. The team colors are black and yellow. The Hawks have won two SJHL championships (1990 and 2018). The Western Hockey League (WHL) is a major junior ice hockey league based in Western Canada and the Northwestern United States. The WHL is one of three leagues that constitutes the Canadian Hockey League (CHL) as the highest level of junior hockey in Canada. Teams play for the Ed Chynoweth Cup, with the winner moving on to play for the Memorial Cup, Canada's national junior championship. U Sports (stylized as U SPORTS) is the national sport governing body of university sport in Canada, comprising the majority of degree-granting universities in the country.
