is a 26-episode Japanese anime television series created and written by Ryōe Tsukimura and produced by Victor Entertainment and Bee Train. The series was directed by Kōichi Mashimo, with Yoko Kikuchi, Minako Shiba and Satoko Miyachi in charge of character designs, Kenji Teraoka in charge of mechanical design, and Yuki Kajiura composing the music. The DVD version was released by ADV Films in North America and the United Kingdom and by Madman Entertainment in Australia and New Zealand. The series follows the story of two young female assassins who embark together on a personal journey to seek answers about mysteries from their past. Chibi Maruko-chan
is a shōjo manga series written and illustrated by Momoko Sakura. The series depicts the simple, everyday life of Momoko Sakura, a young girl everyone calls ''Maruko'', and her family in suburban Japan in the year 1974. Maruko is a troublemaker, and every episode recounts Maruko's trouble and how she and her friends succeed in solving the situation. The series is set in the former of Irie District (入江町), Shimizu, now part of Shizuoka City, birthplace of its author. The first story under the title "Chibi Maruko-chan" was published in the August 1986 edition of the shōjo manga magazine ''Ribon''. It depicts the adventures of a 12-year-old girl named Sandy and her koala friends, Blinky and Pinky, who are from the extra-dimensional realm of Koalawalla Land. ''Noozles'' aired in Japan on Fuji TV in Tokyo and affiliated stations in its original run from July to December 1984. The characters of the ''Inuyasha'' manga series were created by Rumiko Takahashi. Most of the series takes place in a fictional version of Sengoku period, Japan's Warring States period with occasional time-travel/flashback elements to modern Tokyo or the Heisei, Heisei period.
