Tara Singh (artist)
Tara Singh (5 May 1931 – 18 September 2016) was a noted sculptor from Punjab, India. He was the recipient of a number of awards, including the Punjab Rattan Award, the Baba Farid Award and the Sobha Singh Memorial Award. Ludhiana district is one of the 23 districts in the Indian state of Punjab, India, Punjab. It is Punjab's largest district by both area and population. Ludhiana, the largest city in Punjab, is the district headquarters. The main industries are bicycle parts and hosiery.
