Tara Egan-Langley
Tara Blaise (born 1 March 1975) is an Irish female pop, folk, and rock singer. The eldest of six children, Blaise was born in London, but at the age of three moved with her family to Ireland and grew up in Aughrim County Wicklow. Biography Early career The daughter of an architect and a speech and drama teacher, Tara was introduced to the world of drama and music at a young age, studying speech and drama up to grade eight in the Royal Irish Academy of Music. Tara Blaise's singing career began at 16 when she formed a band called Les Legumes with school friends, but it was her stint as a backing singer with Dublin band The Wilde Oscars that first brought her to the attention of the Irish music scene. A spoke is one of some number of rods radiating from the center of a wheel (the hub where the axle connects), connecting the hub with the round traction surface. Naas ( ; ga, Nás na Ríogh or ) is the county town of County Kildare in Ireland. In 2016, it had a population of 21,393, making it the second largest town in County Kildare after Newbridge. Oxegen Festival
Oxegen was a music festival in Ireland, first held from 2004–2011 as a rock and pop festival and again in 2013 with dance and chart acts only. The event was regularly cited as Ireland's biggest music festival, and, by 2009, it was being cited as the greenest festival, being a 100% carbon neutral event in Ireland, although this claim is highly disputed as green-washing. It was previously called Witnness, which ran from 2000 and was sponsored by Guinness. The event is promoted by MCD and is sponsored by Heineken. Oxegen was originally a three-day festival, but from 2008 onwards, it was expanded to four days. T In The Park
T in the Park festival was a major Scottish music festival that was held annually from 1994 to 2016. It was named after its main sponsor, Tennents. The event was held at Strathclyde Park, Lanarkshire, until 1996. It then moved to the disused Balado airfield, Perth and Kinross, from 1997 to 2014. In 2015 the festival moved to Strathallan Castle. It was originally held over two days, and extended to three days from 2007. In 2016 the daily capacity was 70,000. The 2017 T in the Park was cancelled due to problems at the 2016 event. It was officially replaced with the TRNSMT festival which takes place on the same weekend at Glasgow Green. The 2017 festival was a success and further editions of TRNSMT followed in 2018 and 2019. Dancing On Tables Barefoot
''Dancing on Tables Barefoot'' is the debut solo album by Irish singer Tara Blaise released in 2005. Background Blaise had previously met John Hughes, the manager of The Corrs, when he was looking for a vocalist to sing on his own album. Hughes signed him to his label, Spokes, and the Corrs' producer, Olle Romo, produced her solo debut. The first single from the album, "Fool for Love," was touted by BBC Radio 2 broadcasters Terry Wogan and Jonathan Ross. The album was re-issued in 2006 on DRO/Atlantic with four additional songs. Critical reception The album received mixed reviews. ''The Sunday Times'' praised it: "Pretty much everything here could be a single - and there aren't many albums you can say that about." RTÉ gave the album 3/5 stars, praising Blaise's voice but calling some of the songs "inane." Several reviewers compared Blaise's music to Kate Bush and Joni Mitchell, as well as the Corrs.
