Tara Cross-Battle
Tara Cross-Battle (born September 16, 1968 in Houston, Texas) is a retired volleyball player from the United States, who won the bronze medal with the USA National Women's Team at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain. She played NCAA women's volleyball for California State University, Long Beach, where she helped lead her team to the 1989 NCAA Championship title. In 1990, she won the Honda-Broderick Award (now the Honda Sports Award) as the nation's best female collegiate volleyball player. Cross-Battle competed in four Summer Olympics overall, starting in 1992, after having made her debut in 1990.Her height is 190 cm(6ft 3in) Current life Cross-Battle is currently working at Houston Juniors Volleyball Club. The 2001 Women's NORCECA Volleyball Championship was the 17th edition of the volleyball, Women's Continental Volleyball Tournament, played by six countries from October 10 to October 14, 2001 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Rio de Janeiro Vôlei Clube is a women's volleyball team, based in Rio de Janeiro, Rio de Janeiro (state), Brazil. Since the 2021-22 season the club plays under the name Sesc-RJ/Flamengo. History It was founded in 1997 as Paraná Vôlei Clube, playing in Curitiba, Paraná, and moved to Rio in 2003. Leites Nestlé or Leite Moça was a Brazilian women's volleyball club representing Sorocaba and Jundiaí, SP, winner of the 1994 FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship.
