Tara Allain (born October 2, 1985) is Miss Maine for 2007. She is a 2008 graduate of Colby College. Early life Allain is the daughter of Kathleen and Daniel Allain of Worcester, Massachusetts. She is a graduate of Saint Peter-Marian High School. She majored in biology at Colby College. Miss Maine
The Miss Maine competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the state of Maine in the Miss America pageant. Maine has been represented in the pageant since 1937, although the state has never produced a winner. Madison Leslie of Lewiston was crowned Miss Maine 2022 on June 18, 2022, at Freeport Performing Arts Center in Freeport. Miss America 2008, the 81st Miss America pageant, was held on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada, on Saturday, January 26, 2008. The pageant was broadcast live on TLC from the Theatre for the Performing Arts at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino, only the third time that the pageant had been held outside Atlantic City. Saint Peter-Marian Central Catholic Junior-Senior High School, was a private, coeducational Catholic junior high and senior high school in Worcester, Massachusetts, United States.
