Bralon Taplin
Bralon Taplin (born 8 May 1992) is a Grenadian sprint (running), sprinter. Taplin is currently serving a seven year competition ban due to two separate violations against the World Athletics Anti-Doping Rules. His ban is due to expire in September 2026. Career He competed in the 2015 World Championships in Athletics – Men's 400 metres, 400 metres event at the 2015 World Championships in Athletics, 2015 World Championships in Beijing without advancing from the first round. He switched his allegiance from the United States to Grenada in December 2012. Previously he ran for Stony Point High School, winning the Texas state championship in the 400. then spent two years at South Plains College, winning the NJCAA Championship. Cheryl Taplin
Cheryl Taplin (born September 2, 1972 in Seattle) is a retired American track and field athlete who specialized in sprinting events. She represented her country at two consecutive World Championships, in 1997 and 1999. Taplin was elected to the Louisiana State University Hall of Fame in 2006 and the Penn Relays Wall of Fame in 2014. Taplin is currently the Executive Assistant to the Head Coach, and the Assistant Director of Operations, for the University of Southern California Football Team. George Taplin
George Taplin (24 August 1831 – 24 June 1879) was a Congregationalist minister who worked in Aboriginal Australian, Aboriginal missions in South Australia, and gained a reputation as an anthropologist, writing on Ngarrindjeri lore and customs. History Taplin was born in Kingston upon Thames, Surrey, and educated at a private school in Andover, Hampshire, where he lived with his maternal grandmother. He was trained for the legal profession but had ambitions to serve as a missionary. He left for Australia in 1849, and arrived at Adelaide in the ''Anna Maria'' on 12 October 1849. He worked for a time as a lawyer's clerk, and made the acquaintance of Rev. T. Q. Stow, with whom he boarded while studying for the ministry. John Ferguson Taplin
John Ferguson Taplin (May 26, 1914 – April 10, 2008) was an American inventor and businessman and repeated donor to Harvard Medical School. He was married to Virginia Baldwin Taplin (1919?-July 5, 2016), and their gifts were occasionally given in both names. Personal life Taplin was one of five children born in Wellesley, Massachusetts to Harry Blake Taplin and Helen Hood Taplin. Jonathan Trumbull Taplin (born July 18, 1947) is an American writer, film producer and scholar. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and has lived in Los Angeles since 1973. Taplin graduated from Princeton University in 1969 and is the Director Emeritus of the Annenberg Innovation Lab at the University of Southern California Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism. Taplin is Chairman of the Board of the Americana Music Foundation. Lieutenant Leonard Thomas Eaton Taplin (16 December 1895 – 8 July 1961) was an Australian World War I flying ace. During his service in Palestine (region), Palestine, he helped pioneer the use of aerial photography for cartography. Louise Taplin (1855–1901) was an English-born Australian nurse, children's home matron and charity worker.   Early life Louise Taplin was born in or near London in 1855. She began her career in nursing in the 1870s in Paris, working in a large hospital there where she learned various technical training relating to nursing. After her time in France she returned to England and took a post of governess.
