Districts are second-level administrative divisions of Madagascar below the regions. There are 114 districts in Madagascar. Manantenina
Manantenina is a rural municipality in Madagascar. It belongs to the district of Taolanaro, which is a part of Anosy Region. It is situated at the coast of the Indian Ocean at 107 km North of Fort-Dauphin on the unpaved Route nationale 12a. Manantenina lies at southern banks of the Soavary river. Manambaro
Manambaro is a rural municipality in Madagascar. It belongs to the district of Taolanaro, which is a part of Anosy Region. It is situated at 21 kilometers on the Route nationale 13, Ihosy to Tolagnaro. Though, the bridge over the Manambaro river has collapsed in 2021. The word "Manambaro" means "has a lot of varo". "Varo" is a large and tall tree which was peculiar of the Anosy region and has been almost extinct or has disappeared now from charcoal makers. Very few are noted in Analapatsy. In addition to primary schooling, the town offers secondary education at both junior and senior levels. The town provides access to hospital services (Manambaro Lutheran Hospital and a first level government clinic or CSB1) to its citizens. Fifty percent of the commune's population are farmers. Mahatalaky is a rural commune in Madagascar. It belongs to the Districts of Madagascar, district of Taolanaro District, Taolanaro, which is a part of Anosy Region. It is situated at 35 km from Fort Dauphin (Madagascar), Fort Dauphin. The population of the commune was estimated to be approximately 25,000 in 2001 commune census.
