Tanzid Hasan Tamim (born 1 December 2000 in Bogura) is a Bangladeshi cricketer. He made his Twenty20 debut for Uttara Sporting Club in the 2018–19 Dhaka Premier Division Twenty20 Cricket League on 26 February 2019. He made his List A debut for Uttara Sporting Club in the 2018–19 Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League on 8 March 2019. In December 2019, he was named in Bangladesh's squad for the 2020 Under-19 Cricket World Cup. He made his first-class debut on 22 February 2020, for East Zone, in the final of the 2019–20 Bangladesh Cricket League. In February 2021, he was selected in the Bangladesh Emerging squad for their home series against the Ireland Wolves. In 2023, he was selected in Bangladesh's squad for the 50-over Cricket World Cup. Bogra ( bn, বগà§à¦¡à¦¼à¦¾), officially known as Bogura, is a major city located in Bogra District, Rajshahi Division, Bangladesh. The city is a major commercial hub in Northern Bangladesh. The Ireland Wolves (formally Ireland A) is a national cricket team representing Ireland. It is the second tier of international Irish cricket, below the full Ireland national cricket team. The ICC Men's T20 World Cup (earlier known as ICC World Twenty20) is the international championship of Twenty20. Organised by cricket's governing body, the International Cricket Council (ICC), the tournament consists of 16 teams, comprising the top ten teams from the rankings at the given deadline and six other teams chosen through the T20 World Cup Qualifier. 2019–20 Bangladesh Cricket League
The 2019–20 Bangladesh Cricket League was the eighth edition of the Bangladesh Cricket League, a first-class cricket competition. It was held in Bangladesh, running from 31 January to 24 February 2020. The tournament had a smaller set of fixtures than previous editions to accommodate the 2019–20 Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League, and was used as preparation for the first Test match against the Pakistan cricket team. South Zone were the defending champions. In the opening round of matches Tamim Iqbal, batting for East Zone, made the highest score in first-class cricket by a Bangladeshi batsman, with 334 not out.
