Taniela Lasalo is an Australian professional rugby league footballer who plays as a forward or as a for the Hills District Bulls in the Ron Massey Cup. Background He is of Tongan descent. Playing career 2009–14: Career at Parramatta Lasalo was named the Eels Toyota Cup captain for the 2009 season. He also made his National Rugby League (NRL) debut against the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks in round 11 2009. In the 2010 NRL season, Lasalo made 2 appearances for Parramatta. Lasalo played every game in the 2011 NRL season for the Eels as the club narrowly avoided the wooden spoon, as well as re-signing with Parramatta until 2013. Lasalo made 12 appearances for Parramatta in the 2012 NRL season as the club finished last for the first time since 1972. Westmead is a suburb in Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. The Auburn Warriors Rugby League Football Club were an Australian rugby league football club based in Auburn, New South Wales formed in 1953. They played in the NSW Ron Massey Cup competition and in Sydney's A-Grade competitions. 2017 In The 2017 Ron Massey Cup season, Auburn qualified for their first grand final in the competition. Glebe (rugby League Team)
The Glebe Dirty Reds are an Australian rugby league foundation club which played in the New South Wales Rugby Football League's Sydney premiership, the major competition for the sport in Sydney, from 1908 until their exit at the end of 1929. They were formed on 9 January 1908, with some sources suggesting that they may have been the first Sydney rugby league club to have been created. They were nicknamed and well known as the "Dirty Reds" due to the maroon colour of their playing jerseys. Based in Glebe, New South Wales and playing most of their home matches out of the local Wentworth Oval, Glebe remained a highly competitive team for many years. Though they came close at times, the club was never able to secure a premiership title. After struggling towards the end of the 1920s the club was eventually voted out of the premiership. Guildford Owls
The Guildford Owls are a rugby league club based in Guildford, New South Wales, Australia. They have previously competed in the Ron Massey Cup, the Sydney Shield and have also competed in the Sydney Metropolitan Women's Rugby League. History Guildford were founded in 1953 although the leagues club at Guildford was founded much earlier in the 1920s. Guildford have spent much of their existence playing in the lower leagues of the New South Wales Rugby League competitions. One of Parramatta's greatest ever players, Brett Kenny grew up playing as a Guildford junior. In 1991, Guildford won the Ron Massey Cup which was then known as the Metropolitan Cup. In 2018, the Sydney Shield side reached the grand final against East Campbelltown Eagles but were defeated 32-22 at Leichhardt Oval.
