The Tang Dynasty City (), formerly Tang Dynasty Village, was a theme park once located at 2 Yuan Ching Road in Jurong, Singapore. History The S$50 million movie town project of the Tang dynasty era cultural village next to Jurong Lake was first announced on 11 May 1988, with strong backing of four government agencies Economic Development Board, Jurong Town Corporation, Singapore Tourism Promotion Board and Ministry of Community Development. Supported with funding and plans of the development of the park from the Singapore subsidiary of UK-based Dominion International, United Industrial Corporation and other Dutch and Thai investors. The project's tender was awarded to Asia TV Holdings Ltd of Hong Kong owned by Deacon Chiu of the Far East Holdings International. The joint venture and operations of Asia Television and Singapore Broadcasting Corporation being formed under the name of Tang Dynasty Village Singapore Pte Ltd to manage the theme park. Jurong
Jurong () is a major geographical region located at the south-westernmost point of the West Region of Singapore. Although mostly vaguely defined, the region's extent roughly covers the planning areas of Jurong East, Jurong West, Boon Lay, and Pioneer, along with Jurong Island in the Western Islands cluster and the southernmost portions of the Western Water Catchment. Should it be described at its greatest historical extent, the region can also include present-day Bukit Batok and Tuas. Huaqing Pool, or the Huaqing Hot Springs, are a complex of hot springs located in an area characterized by mild weather and scenic views at the northern foot of Mount Li, one of the three major peaks of the Qinling. The Huaqing Hot Springs are located approximately east of Xi'an (formerly Chang'an, the western capital of the Tang dynasty), in the province of Shaanxi, China.
