Tanda is a constituency of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly covering the town of Tanda in the Ambedkar Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh, India. It is one of five assembly constituencies in the Ambedkar Nagar Lok Sabha constituency. Since 2008, this assembly constituency is numbered 278 amongst 403 constituencies. Ram Murti Verma
Ram Murti Verma (born 1 January 1965) is an Indian politician and former Minister of Milk and Dairy development in the Uttar Pradesh government under Akhilesh Yadav ministry. As a member of the Samajwadi Party, Verma represents the Tanda constituency in the 18th Legislative Assembly of Uttar Pradesh. Before that, he represented the Akbarpur constituency in the Sixteenth Legislative Assembly of Uttar Pradesh. Early life and education Verma was born on 1 January 1965 to Vasudev Verma in Dohripur village of Ambedkar Nagar district in the state of Uttar Pradesh. He enrolled for bachelor's degree but did not complete his education. Verma married Sudama Devi in 1984, with whom he has two sons. Verma is an agriculturist by occupation. Ambedkar Nagar is a district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. This district is a part of Faizabad division (officially ''Ayodhya division'') in the Awadh region of the state. This district was established on 29 September 1995 by carving out parts of the erstwhile Faizabad district (now Ayodhya district). Kapila ( sa, कपिल), also referred to as Cakradhanus, is a sage in Hindu tradition. According to Bhagavata Purana, he is the son of the sage Kardama and Devahuti, the daughter of the Svayambhuva Manu. Kardama had nine daughters, who were very learned and went ahead to marry Marici, as well as other great sages.
