Tan Ya
Tan Ya (; born July 18, 1992 in Huaihua, Hunan) is a male Chinese slalom canoeist who has competed since 2008. He finished in 19th place in the K1 event at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. Tan won a gold medal in the K1 event at the 2010 Asian Championships in Xiasi and again at the 2016 Asian Championships in Toyama and 2010 Xiasi Asian Championships. Tan trains at the Heyuan Water Sports Centre, Guangdong Guangdong (, ), alternatively romanized as Canton or Kwangtung, is a coastal province in South China on the north shore of the South China Sea. 2016 Asian Canoe Slalom Championships
The 2016 Asian Canoe Slalom Championships was the 9th edition of the Asian Canoe Slalom Championships. The event took place from 23 to 24 April 2016 in Toyama, Japan. Heyuan
Héyuán (, Hakka:Fò-Ngiàn) is a prefecture-level city of Guangdong province in the People's Republic of China. 2010 Canoe Slalom World Cup
The 2010 Canoe Slalom World Cup was a series of five races in 5 canoeing and kayaking categories organized by the International Canoe Federation (ICF). It was the 23rd edition and it marked the first time that women competed for the single canoe world cup points and title. The series consisted of 2 continental championships (Oceania and Asia) which were open to all countries and 3 world cup races. The athletes gained points for their results in the three world cup races plus their best result from any of the two continental championships.
