Tan Jin Eong
Tan Jin Eong (; born 1927; died 2 November 2014) was a Malaysian badminton player from Ipoh, Perak. Early life Tan was born in Ipoh, Perak, Malaya. He was the son of badminton star Tan Cheng Phor. His sister, Tan Eng Looi, was a badminton player as well. Career Tan was part of the Malayan team that won the 1955 Thomas Cup. He partnered Lim Kee Fong in the doubles. In the final against Denmark, they played against Ole Mertz and Ove Eilertsen in the first doubles and won it in straight sets (15-9, 15-3). In the second doubles, they faced Finn Kobberø and Jørgen Hammergaard Hansen but lost to them in a hard fought three setter (13-18, 15-4, 6-15). Kidney failure, also known as end-stage kidney disease, is a medical condition in which the kidneys can no longer adequately filter waste products from the blood, functioning at less than 15% of normal levels. Kidney failure is classified as either acute kidney failure, which develops rapidly and may resolve; and chronic kidney failure, which develops slowly and can often be irreversible. Jørgen Hammergaard Hansen
Jørgen Hammergaard Hansen (c. 1930 – 22 August 2013) was a Danish badminton player who won numerous major international titles from the mid-1950s to the mid-1960s. Career Though he competed in singles at a strong international level during the first half of his career, it was as a doubles player that he made his mark, capturing six All England Open Badminton Championships, All-England men's doubles titles with Finn Kobberø (1955, 1956, 1961, 1962, 1963, 1964) and reaching the final round of the All-England mixed doubles on three occasions. Finn Kobberø
Finn Kobberø (13 March 1936 – 21 January 2009) was a badminton player from Denmark, who won numerous international titles in all of badminton's three events (singles, doubles, and mixed doubles) from the mid-1950s to the mid-1960s. Career He was one of the most successful players in the history of the All England Open Badminton Championships with 15 titles between 1955 and 1966, 7 in men's doubles, mainly with hard-hitting Jorgen Hammergaard Hansen, and 8 in mixed doubles. He was also a three-time singles finalist at the All-Englands despite a storied disdain for physical conditioning. Perak
Perak () is a state of Malaysia on the west coast of the Malay Peninsula.
