Tamilla Abdullayeva
Tamilla (Tamella) Islam gizi Abdullayeva ( az, Tamilla (Tamella) İslam qızı Abdullayeva, born December 10, 1943) is an Azerbaijani theater actress, People's Artiste of Azerbaijan. Biography Tamilla Abdullayeva was born on December 10, 1943, in Tovuz. She studied at the secondary school in Tovuz, in 1961–1965 she studied at the faculty of drama and film acting of Azerbaijan State Theater Institute. Tamilla Abdullayeva began her stage career at the Azerbaijan State Theatre of Young Spectators, and worked here in 1965–1967. In 1967, when the Yerevan State Azerbaijan Drama Theater was restored after a long break, she began to operate in that theater. In connection with the relocation of the theater in 1988, she continued her activity at the Azerbaijan State Theatre of Musical Comedy, where she worked until 1995, and in 1995–1999 she worked at the Bashir Miniature Theater. Tovuz, Azerbaijan
Tovuz () is a city and the capital of the Tovuz District of Azerbaijan. It's famous for its wine-making, and it also has several archaeological sites. Tovuz region was established on August 8, 1930. People’s Artiste of Azerbaijan () is the honorary title granted for contribution to the development of Azerbaijani culture. The term artiste refers to a professional entertainer, and awards creative success in the theater, cinema and music fields of art in the Republic of Azerbaijan. It was preceded by the People's Artiste of the Azerbaijan SSR (1931–1991). Assignment The honorary title "People's Artiste of Azerbaijan" was established by Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated May 22, 1998, along with some other titles. The President of Azerbaijan confers the honorary title on his initiative, as well as on the proposal of the National Assembly and the Cabinet of Ministers. Yerevan Azeri drama theater was named after Jafar Jabbarly () is the Azerbaijan State Drama Theater, launched in Yerevan in 1928.
