Tamgha-i-Imtiaz
Tamgha-e-Imtiaz () also spelled as Tamgha-i-Imtiaz, is a state-organised honour of Pakistan. It is given to any civilian in Pakistan based on their achievements. While it is a civilian/military award, it can be bestowed upon officers of the Pakistan Armed Forces and worn on their uniform. It can also be awarded to foreign citizens who have performed great service to Pakistan. Grades of the Order of Imtiaz This award is the 4th Grade in the Order of Imtiaz (Excellence). Shoaib Hashmi
Shoaib Hashmi ( ur, ) is a veteran playwright, actor and professor from Pakistan. Family life and education Hashmi received his Master of Arts degree in economics from Government College (now Government College University, Lahore, Government College University), Lahore and his MSc. degree from London School of Economics (LSE), London He also studied theater at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, London. Hashmi is married to Salima Hashmi, the daughter of noted Pakistani poet, Faiz Ahmed Faiz. The couple have two children. Ishrat Fatima (or Ishrat Fatima Saqib) is a former Pakistani newsreader and radio presenter who worked for Pakistan Television and Radio Pakistan. In 2019, she received civil award for her services. The Sitara-e-Imtiaz () also spelled as Sitara-i-Imtiaz, is the third-highest (in the order of "Imtiaz") honour and Civil decorations of Pakistan, civilian award in the State of Pakistan. It recognizes individuals who have made an "especially meritorious contribution to the security or national interests of Pakistan, world peace, cultural or other significant public endeavours". Mohini Hameed
Mohini Hameed (Urdu: ; 1922 - 16 May 2009, Seattle, Washington) better known as Apa Shamim or Shamim Apa, was first Pakistani radio broadcaster, anchor and actress. On 14 August 1947, when Pakistan gained independence, Mohini became the first woman broadcaster of Pakistan. In May 2009 when she died, Lahore studio of Radio Pakistan was renamed ‘Mohini Hameed Studio’. She was the mother of journalist Kanwal Naseer.
