Tamer Zinhom
Tamer Hamed Ali Zinhom Muhammad (also ''Tamer Hamed'', ar, تامر حامد علي زينهم محمد; born February 4, 1974) is an Egyptian former swimmer, who specialized in sprint freestyle and butterfly events. He is a two-time Olympian (1996 and 2000), and an Egyptian record holder in the 50 m freestyle. Hamed made his official debut at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta. He failed to reach the top 16 final in any of his individual events, finishing forty-sixth in the 100 m butterfly (56.46), and forty-seventh each in the 50 m freestyle (24.02) and 100 m freestyle (52.16). At the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Hamed competed only in a sprint freestyle double. He achieved FINA B-standards of 23.39 (50 m freestyle) and 52.14 (100 m freestyle) from the Egyptian Championships in Cairo. In the 100 m freestyle, Hamed placed forty-fourth on the morning prelims. Mark Chay
Mark Chay Jung Jun (simplified Chinese: 蔡荣俊; born 18 February 1982) is a Singaporean freestyle swimmer who has represented the Republic in, amongst others, the SEA Games and Summer Olympics. His international swimming career began at the 1997 SEA Games, and stretched all the way till the 2005 SEA Games. In between, he has competed in a total of five SEA Games, two Asian Games, two Commonwealth Games and two Olympics. He has been awarded "Singapore Sportsboy of the Year" in 2000, and Sportsman of the Year in 2001. Chay competed and studied at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. He was the Mountain West Conference Champion. Chay graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Communications: Communications studies emphasis. Chay retired from swimming in July 2007. Allan Murray (born 19 June 1972) is a Bahamian former swimmer who specialized in sprint freestyle events. He is a three-time Olympian (1992, 1996, and 2000), and a top 16 finalist in the 50 m freestyle at his second Olympic appearance in Atlanta. While studying in the United States, Murray was a member of Georgia Bulldogs swimming team under head coach Jack Bauerle. Career Early years Born and raised in Freeport, Grand Bahama, Bahamas, Murray later emerged as the first Bahamian swimmer to reach a summit of worldwide swimming success. He started his sporting career as a resident athlete for the Swift Swim Club, and was trained by his longtime coach Andy Knowles, a former University of Miami swimmer.
