Grace Tame
Grace Tame (born 28 December 1994) is an Australian activist and advocate for survivors of sexual assault. Tame was named 2021 Australian of the Year on 25 January 2021. Early life, family and education Grace Tame was born in Hobart in about 1994. Her father is former Tasmanian cricketer Michael Tame. In 2013, Tame dropped out of St Michael's Collegiate, and later re-enrolled at a different high school. She then moved to the United States, where she graduated from Santa Barbara City College with degrees in theatre arts and liberal arts. Abuse and aftermath Tame was a dual-scholarship holder at St Michael's Collegiate girls' school in Hobart, and had been diagnosed with anorexia in Year 10. She was groomed when she was 15 and then repeatedly sexually abused by her 58-year-old teacher, Nicolaas Bester. Jack Renfrey Tame (born March 1987) is a television and radio journalist and presenter. He is the host of TVNZ’s political show Q+A, and a presenter at Newstalk ZB''. Early life Tame was born in Christchurch, New Zealand, the son of Golden Bay High School principal Linda Tame and John Tame who worked in accountancy when Jack and his three siblings were growing up. He is the eldest of the four siblings. John Tame
John Tame (c. 1430 - 8 May 1500) of Cirencester and of Beauchamp Court (or "Warwick Court") in the parish of Fairford, both in Gloucestershire, England, was a wealthy wool producer and merchant who re-built the surviving St. Mary's Church, Fairford, the former structure of which had been built by one of the Beauchamp Earls of Warwick in the 15th century. The 28 Fairford stained glass windows he installed in the church are considered amongst the finest and most complete in England. Uwe Reuß (born 3 March 1947, Friedberg/Hessen, † March 2022 Hamburg), known as Johnny Tame, was a German singer-songwriter and guitarist. He started his musical career in the early 1960s and gained remarkable national and international success as soloist as well as member of different bands. His longtime cooperation and partnership with famous German rock singer Peter Maffay kept raising his popularity which he would campaign for social and humanitarian activities. Due to health problems he retired from the music business in 1989.
