''Tambay'' is the second EP by the Pinoy rock band Sponge Cola, released under Universal Records on April 19, 2011. Scope After a three-year hiatus due to personal issues, on April 19, 2011, Sponge Cola released its second EP, ''Tambay''. It is only available by purchasing three 1.5 Liter Coca-Cola's at supermarkets and exchanging the receipt to a nearby redemption center. The album contains six tracks, the shortest of all albums they had made in years, but Yael says that it will contain newer and catchy tunes that will entice new listeners and as well as their long-time followers. The first three songs of the album was a precursor to the development of their fourth studio album, ''Araw Oras Tagpuan'', thus the three are also included in the said album, which was released on September 16, 2011. Patrick Tambay
Patrick Daniel Tambay (25 June 1949 – 4 December 2022) was a French racing driver, commentator, and politician, who competed in 123 Formula One races between 1977 and 1986, securing five pole positions and winning twice. Between 1977 and 1981, he raced for an assortment of teams including Surtees, Theodore, Ligier, and McLaren with mixed results; he additionally won two Can Am championships under Carl Haas in 1977 and 1980. Tambay was hired by Scuderia Ferrari after his close friend Gilles Villeneuve died during the 1982 Belgian Grand Prix; he took his maiden victory four races later in Germany. His second and final victory came the following year in emotional circumstances at Imola. In 1984, Tambay moved to Renault and ended his F1 career at Haas Lola. Tambay competed in various forms of motorsport following his departure from Formula One, including the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the World Sportscar Championship, and the Dakar Rally. Adrien Tambay (born 25 February 1991) is a French professional racing driver. He currently is an official CUPRA driver and is the 2022 ETCR Champion. Flight Lieutenant Vijay Vasant Tambay was an officer of the Indian Air Force whose aircraft was shot down on 5 December 1971 over West Pakistan while on a strike against the Pakistani airbase of Rafiqui, during the 1971 Indo-Pak War. Officially recorded by the Indian Air Force as killed in action, Flt Lt Tambay is believed to have been one of the five pilots reported by Pakistan Observer to have been captured alive on 5 December 1971.
