Abhi Talwalkar was president and CEO of LSI Corporation, a company that designed chips and software for datacenters and other applications. Early life and education Talwalkar was born in Pune, India in 1964. Talwalkar received his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Oregon State University in 1985. Career Prior to 1993, Talwalkar held senior engineering and marketing management positions at Sequent Computer Systems (now part of IBM), Bipolar Integrated Technology and Lattice Semiconductor. Talwalkar served in many upper management positions at Intel from 1993 to 2005. His career at Intel started as a Server Development Engineering and Program manager in 1993. Govind Shripad Talwalkar (22 July 1925 – 21 March 2017, also known honorifically as Govindrao Talwalkar) was a distinguished journalist, legendary editor of ''Maharashtra Times'', historian, scholar, intellectual with liberal views, social reformer and author of 32 books. Padma Talwalkar (born 28 February 1949) is an Indian classical vocalist. Early life Padma Talwalkar was born in Pune, India. She received training in Khyal gayaki in three main styles or gharanas: Gwalior, Kirana and Jaipur. Her love for the accuracy and sanctity of notes she attributes to her first Guru, Pt. Pimpalkhare of the Kirana Gharana, and the latter to her training under the late Smt. Mogubai Kurdikar of the Jaipur Gharana. Sharad Talwalkar (1 November 1918 - 22 August 2001) was an Indian film and television actor who led the Marathi film industry and theatre for many years. He had performed in more than 180 Marathi films. Childhood He had a passion for acting from his childhood, he acted in plays in Bhave High School where he studied. Sulekha Talwalkar is a Marathi film, television and theatre actress working in Maharashtra. Career Sulekha Talwalkar entered into an acting career while she was studying at the Ramnarain Ruia College, Matunga, Mumbai. Taalyogi Pandit Suresh Talwalkar (born 1948) is an Indian musician who plays the percussion instrument ''tabla''. Performing career Talwalkar was born in 1948 into a Marathi family in Chembur, Mumbai. He belongs to the Keertankar family of Shri Dholebuva. Keertana being a classical form of devotional and musical discourse, a liking for the classical music was inculcated in him right in the childhood. He initially learned playing the ''tabla'' from his father Dattatrey Talwalkar.
