Tally Gotliv
Revital "Tally" Gotliv (born 3 November 1975) is an Israeli lawyer and politician. She is currently a member of the Knesset for the Likud. In her legal career, Gotliv worked for the State Attorney in the Tel Aviv district and represented defendants in sex crime cases. She garnered attention for her criticism of a rape victim's testimony on social media, which led to a complaint filed against her by the Association of Rape Crisis Centers in Israel, although the complaint was later shelved. Gotliv's bid for the chairmanship of the Israel Bar Association in 2016 marked her as the first woman to run for the office, although she came in last place. She was also a panelist on Channel 13's ''Shishi'' until May 2022. Gotliv's political career began with her co-founding the Shavim party, which focused on equality for parents and individuals with disabilities, but garnered only 401 votes in the 2019 election. Knesset
The Knesset ( he, הַכְּנֶסֶת ; "gathering" or "assembly") is the unicameral legislature of Israel. As the supreme state body, the Knesset is sovereign and thus has complete control of the entirety of the Israeli government (with the exception of checks and balances from the courts and local governments). The Knesset passes all laws, elects the president and prime minister (although the latter is ceremonially appointed by the President), approves the cabinet, and supervises the work of the government, among other things. In addition, the Knesset elects the state comptroller. It also has the power to waive the immunity of its members, remove the president and the state comptroller from office, dissolve the government in a constructive vote of no confidence, and to dissolve itself and call new elections. Doomsday Device
A doomsday device is a hypothetical construction — usually a weapon or weapons system — which could destroy all life on a planet, particularly Earth, or destroy the planet itself, bringing "doomsday", a term used for the end of planet Earth. Most hypothetical constructions rely on hydrogen bombs being made arbitrarily large, assuming there are no concerns about delivering them to a target (see Teller–Ulam design) or that they can be " salted" with materials designed to create long-lasting and hazardous fallout (e.g., a cobalt bomb). Jericho Missile
Jericho is a general designation given to a loosely-related family of deployed ballistic missiles developed by Israel starting in the 1960s. The name is taken from the first development contract for the Jericho I signed between Israel and Dassault in 1963, with the codename as a reference to the Biblical city of Jericho. As with most Israeli unconventional weapons systems, exact details are classified, though there are observed test data, public statements by government officials, and details in open literature especially about the Shavit satellite launch vehicle.
