Counting
Counting is the process of determining the number of elements of a finite set of objects, i.e., determining the size of a set. The traditional way of counting consists of continually increasing a (mental or spoken) counter by a unit for every element of the set, in some order, while marking (or displacing) those elements to avoid visiting the same element more than once, until no unmarked elements are left; if the counter was set to one after the first object, the value after visiting the final object gives the desired number of elements. The related term ''enumeration'' refers to uniquely identifying the elements of a finite (combinatorial) set or infinite set by assigning a number to each element. Counting sometimes involves numbers other than one; for example, when counting money, counting out change, "counting by twos" (2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, ...), or "counting by fives" (5, 10, 15, 20, 25, ...). Talley Robert "Tally" Holmes (December 9, 1889 in Washington, D.C. − March 1, 1969 in Washington, D.C. (access: 15 July 2019).) was an American player in the 1910s and 1920s. Holmes was among the founders in 1916 of the (ATA). Holmes and other representatives from dozens of black tennis clubs met in Washington D.C. on Thanksgiving Day to create a more organized way for black youths to participate in tennis. ''Uglies'' is a book series by Scott Westerfeld for young adults. Westerfeld originally intended for ''Uglies'' to be a trilogy. However, after publishing the series' first three novels, ''Uglies'', ''Pretties'', and '' Specials'', he ultimately wrote an additional fourth book, '' Extras''. This fourth book is dedicated " everyone who wrote to me to reveal the secret definition of the word 'trilogy'." On February 2, 2018, Westerfeld announced a continuation of the series consisting of four new novels, the first one being ''Impostors'', that was released in September 2018. The first three novels focus on the exploits of Tally Youngblood. Celebrity Deathmatch
''Celebrity Deathmatch'' is an adult stop-motion claymated series created by Eric Fogel and produced by John Worth Lynn Jr. for MTV. A parody of sports entertainment programs, ''Celebrity Deathmatch'' depicted various celebrities engaging in highly stylized professional wrestling matches. The series was known for its large amount of gory violence, including combatants employing different abilities and weapons to deliver particularly brutal attacks, resulting in exaggerated physical injuries. Two television pilots were broadcast on MTV on January 1 and 25, 1998. The series properly premiered on May 14, 1998, and ended on June 6, 2002, airing for 93 episodes. During its run, it was one of MTV's most popular cartoons alongside ''Beavis and Butt-Head'' and ''Daria''. A series of German shorts, ''Celebrity Deathmatch Hits Germany'', aired on June 21, 2001, but it was poorly received from the fans, which was rumored to be the source of the show's cancellation.
