Francesco Maria Taliani De Marchio
Francesco Maria Taliani de Marchio (22 October 1887 – 16 March 1968) was an Italian diplomat who was most notable for his role as ambassador to China (1938–1946) during World War II. In this capacity he was accredited to the Japanese puppet state of the Reorganized National Government of China, under Wang Jingwei. In 1943, he refused to pledge loyalty to the Italian Social Republic and was briefly imprisoned by the Japanese. After the war he subsequently was made first Italian ambassador to Spain (1951–1952) since the countries broke relations in 1946. Taliani was married to Archduchess Margaretha of Austria. Emidio Taliani
Emidio Taliani (19 April 1838 – 24 August 1907) was an Italian Cardinal of the Roman Catholic Church. He served as Nuncio to Austria from 1896 to 1903, and was elevated to the cardinalate in 1903. Biography Emidio Taliani was born in Montegallo, and studied at the University of Rome, from where he obtained his doctorates in theology and in canon and civil law. He was ordained to the priesthood on 20 October 1861, and later served as secretary to Cardinal Carlo Sacconi. After being raised to the rank of Privy Chamberlain supernumerary, Taliani became auditor (16 May 1869) and ''chargé d'affaires'' (1870) of the nunciature to Germany. He was made a Domestic Prelate of His Holiness in 1871, and was sent to the nunciature to France, where he served as auditor from 1875 to 1879. Reda Tamni ( ar, رضى تمني; born 1980 in El Biar, Algiers), known by his stage name Reda Taliani ( ar, رضى الطلياني, link=no), is an Algerian raï singer and musician. He is a longtime resident from Aubagne, Provence, France. His music blends chaabi, raï and traditional musical styles of the Maghreb, and many of his songs depict the realities and aspirations of the Algerian youth. Career Born in El Biar, Algiers, from a Constantine-based family, Reda Taliani grew in Koléa, a town in Tipaza Province, in northern Algeria. His musical career started at 5 when he joined the Koléa Conservatory of Arab and Andalusian Music where he studied playing a number of instruments and excelled in playing the mandolin.
