Talal Al-Absi
Talal Al-Absi ( ar, طلال العبسي, born 22 February 1993) is a Saudi Arabian Association football, footballer who currently plays as a defender (association football), defender for Al-Hazem F.C., Al-Hazem and the Saudi Arabia national football team, Saudi national team. Career Talal Al-Absi started his career at Ittihad FC, Al-Ittihad and made his debut on 14 April 2013 in the league match against Najran SC, Najran. He made his continental debut for Al-Ittihad in the 2014 AFC Champions League group stage, Champions League group stage match against Iranian side Tractor S.C., Tractor which ended in a 1–0 loss. On 17 July 2015, Al-Absi signed a two-year contract with Al-Taawoun FC, Al-Taawoun. He made his debut for the club on 21 August 2015 against Al-Ahli Saudi FC, Al-Ahli. 2019 Saudi Super Cup
The 2019 Saudi Super Cup was the 6th edition of the Saudi Super Cup, an annual football match played between the winners of the previous season's Saudi Pro League and King's Cup. It was played on 4 January 2020 by Al-Nassr, the winners of the 2018–19 Saudi Pro League, and Al-Taawoun, the winners of the 2019 King Cup. The match was held at the King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia for the first time. Al-Nassr won 5–4 on a penalty shoot-out after a 1–1 draw at the end of extra time, securing their first title in the competition. Venue The King Abdullah Sports City, also known as the Jewel Stadium, was announced as the venue of the final on 11 November 2019. 2019 King Cup
The 2019 King Cup, or The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup, was the 44th edition of the King Cup since its establishment in 1957, and the 1st under the current format. It started on 1 January and concluded with the final on 2 May 2019. As winners of the tournament, Al-Taawoun qualified for the 2020 AFC Champions League group stage. Al-Taawoun won their first title after a 2–1 win over defending champions Al-Ittihad in the final on 2 May 2019. Format changes On 9 February 2018, the Saudi FF announced that the number of teams were increased from 32 to 64 teams to accommodate the increased number of teams in the leagues. 2013 King Cup Of Champions
The 2013 King Cup of Champions, or The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup, was the 38th season of King Cup of Champions since its establishment in 1957, and the 6th under the current edition. The top eight in the Professional League competed in the King cup which kicked off on 4 May. Al-Ahli were the defending champion but they were eliminated by Al-Shabab in semifinals. Saudi Super Cup
The Saudi Super Cup ( ar, كأس السوبر السعودي) is an annual super cup football match organised by the Saudi Arabian Football Federation. Founded in 2013 as a two-team competition, the current version has been contested since 2022–23 by four teams: the winners and runners-up of the King Cup and Pro League. The competition was held the week before the season begins in Saudi Arabia from 2013 until 2018. Since the 2019 edition it has been held mid-season. The current holders are Al-Hilal, who won 2–2 (4–3 on penalties) against Al-Faisaly in the 2021 edition.
