Takoby Cofield
Takoby Cofield (born January 22, 1992) is a former Canadian football left tackle and is the assistant offensive line coach for the Edmonton Elks of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played college football at Duke and was originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the Washington Redskins. He played two seasons with the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Early life and education Takoby Cofield was born on January 22, 1992, in Tarboro, North Carolina. He went to Tarboro High School in North Carolina. He played college football at Duke. While at Duke, he played 42 consecutive games, playing in 3,274 snaps. In his senior season, he was named All-Atlantic Coast Conference. The 310 pound offensive lineman was nicknamed "Big Cat" by his coach. Professional career Cofield went undrafted in the 2015 NFL Draft. The 2015 NFL Draft was the 80th annual meeting of National Football League (NFL) franchises to select newly eligible football players. It took place in Chicago at the Auditorium Theatre and in Grant Park, from April 30 to May 2. The previous fifty NFL drafts (since 1965) had been held in New York City. In baseball statistics, games started (denoted by GS) indicates the number of games that a pitcher has started for his team. A pitcher is credited with starting the game if he throws the first pitch to the first opposing batter. If a player is listed in the starting lineup as the team's pitcher, but is replaced before facing an opposing batter, the player is credited with a game pitched but not a game started; there have been instances in major league history in which a starting pitcher was removed before his first pitch due to an injury, perhaps suffered while batting or running the bases during the top half of the first inning. Tarboro, North Carolina
Tarboro is a town located in Edgecombe County, North Carolina, United States. It is part of the Rocky Mount Metropolitan Statistical Area. As of the 2020 census, the town had a population of 10,721. Games played (GP) is a statistic used in team sports to indicate the total number of games in which a player has participated (in any capacity); the statistic is generally applied irrespective of whatever portion of the game is contested. Baseball In baseball, the statistic applies to players, who prior to a game, are included on a starting lineup card or are announced as an ''ex ante'' substitute, whether or not they play.
