Annikki Tähti
Annikki Tähti (in 1959–1978 Tähti-Tiensuu; 5 December 1929 – 19 June 2017) was a Finnish schlager singer, known for her wide repertoire ranging from waltz and tango to swing and Latin music, over a career lasting more than fifty years. Music career Tähti's career began when a colleague arranged, behind her back, an audition with the composer and conductor George de Godzinsky in 1950. After a few years working together, with de Godzinsky coaching and preparing Tähti for a singing career, she signed a deal with the newly established ''Scandia'' record label. Her breakthrough was a slow and nostalgic waltz, ' ( 'Remember Monrepos?'): released in 1955, it was the first gold record in Finland, and decades later remains the fourth- best-selling Finnish single of all time. It was originally intended only as the B-side to Tähti's hit single ''Pieni sydän'', but became much more popular and was released in its own right. Gholamreza Takhti ( fa, غلامرضا تختی, August 27, 1930 – January 7, 1968) was an Iranian Olympic Gold-Medalist wrestler and Varzesh-e Bastani (''Persian Traditional Sport'') practitioner.Houchang E. Ille Takhti
Ille Tăhti ( cv, Илле Тӑхти; September 4, 1889 – February 22, 1938) is a Chuvash writer and folklorist, and a member of USSR Union of Writers starting in 1934. Early life Ille Tăhti was born on September 4, 1889, in the Nüškassi village of the Yantikovsky District of the Chuvash Republic. He graduated from a rural school and moved into a Kazan teacher's seminary. There he earned the rank of teacher and worked at Tautovo High School in Alikovsky District. Career Tăhti collected national songs and verses. In 1911, he published a collection in Kazan in 2 volumes: ''Tavat, Melesh, Shuras songs'' and ''Shuras''. In 1922–1925 served as inspector Narkomprosa of the Chuvash ASSR. Jouni Tähti
Jouni Tähti (born 4 April 1968) is a Finnish disabled professional pool player. He is a five-times world champion in 9-ball wheelchair billiards, having won the competition in 2002, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2013. He won the silver in 2012 and the bronze in 2014. He has achieved a medal placing in every world championship he has participated in. In the European Pool Championships he has won 31 medal places making him one of the most successful players in this class. Tähti has played billiards since the age of eight.
