Akashi Takenori
was a Japanese samurai of the Azuchi-Momoyama period, Azuchi-Momoyama through early Edo periods. Also known as Teruzumi, Zentō, or Naritoyo. Retainer of Ukita Naoie, the major daimyō of Bizen Province. Also known by his court title, . Takenori also served as a strategist under Naoie's son Ukita Hideie. At the Battle of Sekigahara, he fought bravely against Fukushima Masanori. After the Ukita clan had been destroyed in the Battle of Sekigahara, Takenori lived in Asakura, Fukuoka, Akizuki. At the Siege of Osaka, Akashi entered Osaka castle and he fought against Tokugawa Ieyasu to the last minute. His wife, Monica, accompanied him to Osaka, and worked as a nurse throughout the siege. After the castle's fall, Takenori escaped again. He never committed suicide because of his Christian beliefs. is a Japanese politician of the New Komeito Party, a member of the House of Representatives in the Diet (national legislature). He was born in Tianjin, China during the time part of China was under Japanese occupation. A graduate of the University of Tokyo, he was elected to the House of Representatives for the first time in 1983. From August 1993 to April 1994, he served as Minister of Posts and Telecommunications in Morihiro Hosokawa's cabinet. Kasuya Takenori
was a Japanese samurai of the Azuchi-Momoyama Period, in the service of the Toyotomi clan. He was the second son of Kasuya Tadayasu, a retainer of the Bessho clan of Harima Province. He held the title of Naizen no Kami (内膳正). Following the Chūgoku campaign, Takenori became a page of Toyotomi Hideyoshi due to the recommendation of Kuroda Kanbei. In 1583, Takenori achieved notoriety due to his distinguished combat at the Battle of Shizugatake, where he was known as one of the Seven Spears of Shizugatake, and for this distinction he received a stipend of 3,000 ''koku'' from Hideyoshi. Also served in the Korean campaign, and subsequently was granted Kakogawa Castle in Harima Province. In 1600, at the Battle of Sekigahara, he was to be the only one out of the "Seven Spears" to side with Ishida Mitsunari's "Western" army, and joined in the attack on Fushimi Castle. is a Japanese French horn player, composer, conductor, and music educator. Early life In 1969, Nemoto was born in Kamakura, Japan. Nemoto began his musical training at age 3. By age 15, Nemoto began his study in music composition and horn.(in French) Education Nemoto earned a bachelor of music degree from the Tokyo University of the Arts, where he was trained by Henriette Puig-Roget, a French pianist and music educator.
