Takayuki Yagi
Takayuki Yagi is a referee and former wrestler for Dragon Gate. Biography Wrestler Yagi joined the Toryumon system as a part of the T2P class. He started his career under his real name, and his initial gimmick was that of a fisherman who carried a large flag with a sea-oriented design to the ring. Following the formation of the Italian Connection on March 3, 2002, he was accepted into the unit and renamed Pescatore Yagi, "pescatore" being the Italian word for fisherman, and he began carrying a large Italian flag to the ring instead. When the ItaCon admitted on January 23, 2003 that they were all indeed Japanese and not Italian, Yagi admitted that he was not a fisherman, but instead the son of a baker. Dragon Gate (wrestling)
operating as and often referred to simply as Dragon Gate (also stylized as Dragongate (ラゴンゲート, Doragongēto)), is a Japanese professional wrestling promotion formerly known as Toryumon Japan. Most of the promotion's wrestlers are graduates of its Dojo or Último Dragón's Toryumon Gym, and thus the promotion is based on a junior heavyweight style with varying emphasis on high flying maneuvers, flashy technical grappling, and submission wrestling. History On July 4, 2004, Último Dragón departed from the Toryumon Gym and seized ownership of the "Toryumon" trademarks. Shuji Kondo
is a Japanese professional wrestler. Prior to becoming a pro wrestler, he played rugby. After starting his career in Toryumon, Kondo eventually joined All Japan Pro Wrestling (AJPW), where he became one of the promotion's top junior heavyweights, winning the World Junior Heavyweight Championship three times and the All Asia Tag Team Championship once. Upon leaving AJPW in 2013, Kondo joined Wrestle-1, where he became half of the inaugural Wrestle-1 Tag Team Champions. Kondo also worked as the vice president, booker and trainer for Wrestle-1 until its closure in 2020. He now works as a freelancer in promotions like Pro Wrestling Basara and DragonGate. , better known by his ringname "brother" Yasshi (stylised as "brother" YASSHI), is a Japanese professional wrestler, known for his appearances in El Dorado Wrestling, Dragon Gate, and All Japan Pro Wrestling. He is currently working for Pro Wrestling Zero1. He was an amateur wrestler before becoming a pro wrestler. Career Toryumon – Japan Tsujimoto debuted in Toryumon Japan as part of the T2P class as Stevie "brother" Tsujimoto. is a Japanese professional wrestler, better known by his ring name . He is best known for his work in DDT Pro-Wrestling, where he is a former KO-D Openweight Championship, KO-D Openweight Champion and two time KO-D Tag Team Championship, KO-D Tag Team Champion. Kinta Tamaoka
is a Japanese professional wrestling referee and occasional wrestler, best known for working for Dragon Gate under the ring name . Biography Tamaoka joined the Toryumon system as a wrestler, but dropped out of the dojo for unknown reasons. He then became a referee. In May 2006, he joined heel unit Muscle Outlaw'z to act as their own personal referee. He used fast counts and allowed rule breaking to give them an advantage. He also would simply refuse to count for MO'z opponents, and occasionally go so far as to attack them. A particular trick of his was to throw "protein" in the opponents' faces. Come September 2007, Tamaoka's relationship with the MO'z began to disintegrate after he cost the MO'z several matches with misaimed protein attacks. The Open the Owarai Gate Championship was a professional wrestling title in Japanese promotion Dragon Gate. The word ''owarai'' in the title's name is the Japanese word for ''comedy''. The championship was first conceived during Stalker Ichikawa's first United States tour, joining fellow Dragon Gate wrestlers Cima, Naruki Doi, Masato Yoshino and Don Fujii during the Pro Wrestling Guerrilla two-night event Dynamite Duumvirate Tag Team Title Tournament on May 19 and May 20, 2007, in Burbank, California.
