Takayuki Hamana
is a Japanese animator and director known for directing ''The Prince of Tennis''. Career Upon graduating high school, Takayuki Hamana joined Ajia-do as an in-between animator for four years. Hamana left Ajia-do and joined I.G Tatsunoko, where he became a key animator for various project such as ''Blue Seed'' (1994) and '' Jin-Roh'' (2000). His experience in storyboarding and directing an episode of '' Crayon Shin-chan'' became the "starting point" for his path to become a director. He made his series directing debut in 2001 with ''The Prince of Tennis'' and his film directing debut with '' The Prince of Tennis: Futari no Samurai'' (2005). ''Bootleg'' is a 2002 miniseries for children, commissioned by the BBC and based on a book of the same name by Alex Shearer. It was shown as a three-part series in the UK, with subsequent broadcasts in Australia and all over the world. Plot The film is about a new political party called the "Good for You" (abbreviated as GFY) which comes into power and bans chocolate. Vampiyan Kids
is a Japanese anime television series created by Production I.G and directed by Masatsugu Arakawa, with Suzuka Yoshida and Miyako Yatsu in charge of character designs and Toshihiko Sahashi composing the music. It began airing in Japan on October 13, 2001, and finished airing on March 30, 2002. The series lasted 26 episodes, with 3 episodes being DVD only. Plot summary The world of a Vampiyan family, who survive on orange juice instead of blood, is turned upside down when Papa is unable to scare humans. The family is sent to the human world were Papa must scare 1000 people before they can return. Unfortunately, Papa's daughter, Sue, falls in love with a boy named Kou and no longer wants to return home. Pilot film An 18-minute pilot film was produced for ''Vampiyan Kids'' in 1999.
