Taipei Taishin Basketball Team
The Taipei Taishin Mars ( zh, 臺北台新戰神) are a Taiwanese professional basketball team based in Taipei City. They have competed in the T1 League since the 2023–24 season, and play their home games at the Taipei Heping Basketball Gymnasium. Franchise history On June 6, 2023, the Taishin Financial Holdings announced to establish the Taishin Sports Entertainment Co., Ltd. On June 26, the T1 League announced that the Taishin Sports Entertainment Co., Ltd. took over the participation rights of the TaiwanBeer HeroBears. On August 24, the team was announced as the Taipei Taishin Mars. Erik McCree (born December 20, 1993) is an American professional basketball player who last played for the Magnolia Hotshots of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). The 2024–25 Taipei Taishin Mars season is the franchise's 2nd season, its first season in the Taiwan Professional Basketball League (TPBL). The Taiwan Beer Leopards ( zh, 台啤永豐雲豹) are a Taiwanese professional basketball team based in Taoyuan City, Taiwan. They have competed in the T1 League since the 2021–22 season, and play their home games at the Taoyuan Arena. The Leopards became one of the six teams of the inaugural T1 League season. 2024 T1 League Playoffs
The 2024 T1 League playoffs was the postseason tournament of the T1 League's 2023–24 season. The semifinals series started on May 4 and ended on May 14. The finals series started on May 24 and ended on June 1. On June 1, the Taiwan Beer Leopards defeated the Taipei Mars, 4–0, winning the 2023–24 season championship. Format Four teams will participate in the playoffs. The top four seeds, based on winning percentage of regular season, play the best-of-five semifinals series, which is in a 2-2-1 format.
