The Taipei Liaison Office in the Republic of South Africa () represents the interests of Taiwan in South Africa in the absence of formal diplomatic relations, functioning as a ''de facto'' embassy. Its counterpart in Taiwan is the Liaison Office of the Republic of South Africa in Taipei. It has two offices, one in Pretoria and the other in Cape Town. The Western Cape is a province of South Africa, situated on the south-western coast of the country. ''The China Post'' () was an English-language newspapers published in Taiwan (officially the Republic of China), alongside the ''Taipei Times'' and the ''Taiwan News''. ''The China Post'' was established by Mr. and Mrs. Y. P. Huang in 1952.
