Al Hawiyah
Al Hawiyah is a town in Makkah Province, located 15 km (9.3 miles) from Ta'if. It was a small suburb in the past. Currently it has expanded to include more than 15 residential neighborhoods, with an area of 80 km2 (30.88 mi2) and is inhabited with many different classes of Saudi society. Taif ( ar, , translit=aṭ-Ṭāʾif, lit=The circulated or encircled, ) is a city and governorate in the Makkan Region of Saudi Arabia. Located at an elevation of in the slopes of the Hijaz Mountains, which themselves are part of the Sarat Mountains, the city has a 2020 estimated population of 688,693 people, making it the 6th most populous city in the kingdom. There is a belief that Taif is indirectly referred to in Quran 43:31.
