Tai Tam Wan
Tai Tam Bay () is a bay in the Tai Tam area, in the southeastern part of Hong Kong Island, in the Southern District of Hong Kong. Geography Tai Tam Bay cover a marine area of about 8 km². It comprises a narrow inlet to the inner bay area, named Tai Tam Harbour, as well as a much wider middle and outer bay. While the average water depth within Tai Tam Harbour is about 3 m, the water depth increases from 5 m in the middle bay to 9 m in the outer bay. The width of the opening of the bay is about 2.2 km. The western point of the bay is Tai Tai Head or Tai Tam Tau () at the southern end of Stanley Peninsula, while the eastern point of entrance is Cape D'Aguilar on the southeastern end of D'Aguilar Peninsula D'Aguilar Peninsula () is located in southeastern Hong Kong Island, in the Southern District of Hong Kong. Tai Tam
Tai Tam or ''Tytam'' is an area in Southern District on Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong. Tai Tam means a ''big pool'' in the Chinese language which illustrates a triangular bay, namely Tai Tam Bay between Stanley Peninsula, D'Aguilar Peak and Tai Tam Tuk (, lit. innermost of Tai Tam, also known as ''Tytam Took''). The meaning of Tai Tam varies greatly between the early colonial days and the present day. Current usage The present-day Tai Tam is the area around Tai Tam Tuk, the location of Tai Tam Tuk Reservoir. It is covered by the Tai Tam Reservoirs, the Tai Tam Country Park and Tai Tam Country Park (Quarry Bay extension). Tai Tam Harbour () is a harbour in the innermost part of Tai Tam Bay in the southeastern part of Hong Kong Island, in the Southern District of Hong Kong. It is located at the estuary of Tai Tam Tuk. Cape D'Aguilar () is a cape on Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong. The cape is on the southeastern end of D'Aguilar Peninsula. To its north are Shek O and D'Aguilar Peak.
