Tahar Chérif El-Ouazzani
Si-Tahar Chérif El-Ouazzani ( ar, سي الطاهر شريف الوزاني, born 10 July 1967 in Oran) is a former Algerian footballer. Career Chérif El-Ouazzani started his career with hometown MC Oran in 1983. In his first season, he would lead the club to its first league title in 17 years. The following season he would lead the team to the final of the African Cup of Champions Clubs where they lost a controversial match-up on penalties to Raja Casablanca. He would play one more season for MCO during which he won the 1990 African Cup of Nations before signing his first professional contract with Turkish club Aydinspor, joining fellow Algerian Djamel Amani at the club. He played two season in Turkey before returning again to Algeria. The following year he would lead MC Oran to the league title for a second time before leaving again, this time to Moroccan side Raja Casablanca. Hichem Chérif El-Ouazzani (born 1 January 1996) is an Algerian professional footballer who currently plays as a midfielder. On January 31, 2019, Hichem Chérif El-Ouazzani was suspended for 4 years by the Algerian League's Discipline Commission due to doping affair. Professional career Chérif El-Ouazzani made his professional debut with MC Alger in a 2-1 Algerian Ligue Professionnelle 1 loss to RC Arbaâ 29 May 2015. On 31 January 2019, El-Ouazzani was sentenced to a four-year suspension and a big fine after being tested positive for doping substances, including cocaine. However, he said that he did not intend to become doped when he smoked waterpipe with his friends on the eve of the match against the CR Belouizdad on 17 January. Si-Abdennour Chérif El-Ouazzani (born 18 March 1986 in Oran) is an Algerian football player. He currently plays for CA Bordj Bou Arréridj in the Algerian Ligue Professionnelle 2. Playing career MC Oran Abdennour Chérif El-Ouazzani began his career as a youngster at MC Oran, where he was coached by his older brother, the former Algerian international Tahar Chérif El-Ouazzani, whom he names as his favourite player.
