Taemin Songs
Lee Tae-min (born July 18, 1993), better known Mononym, mononymously as Taemin, is a South Korean singer, actor and dancer. He debuted as a member of the boy band Shinee in May 2008 and the Supergroup (music), supergroup SuperM in 2019, both under SM Entertainment, and has subsequently been labeled by media outlets as the "Idol's Idol" due to the large number of idols citing him as an inspiration. As an actor, Taemin's first role was as Junsu in the 2009 Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation, MBC comedy ''Tae-Hee, Hye-Kyo, Ji-Hyun''. Taemin debuted as a soloist in 2014 with the release of his first extended play (EP), ''Ace (Taemin EP), Ace''. It peaked at number one on the South Korean Gaon Album Chart, and its lead single "Danger" reached number five on the Gaon Digital Chart. Lee, I, or Yi () is the second-most-common surname in Korea, behind Kim (김). Historically, 李 was officially written as Ni () in Korea. The spelling officially changed to I () in 1933 when the initial sound rule () was established. In North Korea, it is romanized as Ri () because there is no distinction between the alveolar liquids /l/ and /r/ in modern Korean. ''Ace'' is the debut extended play by South Korean singer Taemin. It was released by SM Entertainment on August 18, 2014. "Danger" was released as the lead single. Background and release On August 11, 2014, SM Entertainment announced Taemin would release an EP titled ''Ace'' on August 18. On August 13, a highlight medley video from the EP was uploaded to YouTube. The official music video for the lead single, titled "Danger", came out on August 15 and was directed by Kim Sung-wook, who said that through the video he aimed to explore "the themes of masculinity". Composition The song "Danger" was composed by Thomas Troelsen, who also wrote the theme song for the World Cup in Brazil. ''Koala Kid'' (also known as ''Outback'' or ''The Outback'') is a 2012 computer-animated action comedy film directed by Kyung Ho Lee. It was released in South Korea on January 12, 2012. The English dub cast consists of Rob Schneider, Bret McKenzie, Frank Welker, Yvonne Strahovski, Alan Cumming, Tim Curry, and Chris Edgerly. Plot In Australia, a white koala named Johnny is teased about his color, so he joins a traveling circus with the help of Hamish, a Tasmanian Devil, and Higgens, a spider monkey photographer. He is disappointed that he is part of the freak show instead of the main acts in the big tent. The top act is "Wild Bushman" who takes all the audience from the freak show. ''Inkigayo'' ( ko, 인기가요; English title: ''The Music Trend'', previously ''Popular Song'') is a South Korean music program broadcast by SBS. It airs live every Sunday. The show features some of the latest and most popular artists who perform on stage. It is broadcast from the SBS Open Hall in Deungchon-dong, Gangseo-gu, Seoul. History ''Inkigayo'' debuted as ''SBS Popular Song'' in 1991 as a chart show, but was canceled in fall 1993 because it was replaced by TV Gayo 20 (TV 가요20).
