Tadoussac (film)
''Tadoussac'' is a Canadian drama film, directed by Martin Laroche and released in 2017. The film stars Camille Mongeau as Chloé, an unhappy young woman from Montreal who abandons her urban life and travels to the small town of Tadoussac, where she befriends Myriam (Isabelle Blais), a local tour guide who is battling emotional demons of her own. The cast also includes Isabelle Boivin, Serge Boulianne and Juliette Gosselin. The film was shot in 2016, in Tadoussac and other areas in the Côte-Nord region of Quebec. The Prix collégial du cinéma québécois is an annual Canadian film award, presented to a film from Quebec judged as the best of the year by a jury of students in film studies programs at the province's CEGEPs.Léa Carrier"Je m’appelle humain remporte le Prix collégial du cinéma québécois" '' La Presse'', March 30, 2021. 20th Quebec Cinema Awards
The 20th Quebec Cinema Awards ceremony was held on 3 June 2018 in Montreal, to recognize talent and achievement in the Cinema of Quebec. It was hosted by actresses Édith Cochrane and Guylaine Tremblay, who also jointly hosted the 2017 Prix Iris. Formerly known as the Jutra Awards, the Prix Iris name was announced in October 2016. A new category, Best Sound for a Documentary Film, was created for the 2018 event, and the nominees for Best Film was increased from five to seven.
