Tadeu Patolla
Luiz Antônio Tadeu Eliezer (born March 30, 1959), better known as Tadeu Patolla, is a Brazilian guitarist and Latin Grammy Award-winning record producer best known for discovering the then-relatively new alternative rock band Charlie Brown Jr. in 1995 and launching them into mainstream fame. Biography Patolla was born in Santos, São Paulo on March 30, 1959. He began his career, initially as a musician, in the late 1970s playing for cover bands Rock Memory and Rock Cover. In the early 1980s, alongside former Patrulha do Espaço bassist Oswaldo "Cokinho" Gennari, Leonardo Giordano and Maurício Pedrosa, he formed the "one-hit wonder" band Telex, whose only release prior to their disbandment was the 7" single "Só Delírio" through CBS Records International in 1984. In 1986 he formed the pop/ comedy rock band Lagoa 66, who had shortened their name only to "Lagoa" by the time of the release of their only studio album, ''Agora Sai!'', in 1995. ''Acústico MTV'' is a musical television program originally aired by MTV Brasil, inspired by the series ''MTV Unplugged'', an American program created in 1989 where bands and artists play their music in an acoustic version, that is, with acoustic and non-electric instruments. Initially, ''Acústico MTV'' was born as a television program and, as a result, became a music label. For the Brazilian music industry, the series took the music market to its peak. With the end of MTV Brasil's management by Grupo Abril in September 2013, the station stopped producing the program. Therefore, the last acoustic one was with Arnaldo Antunes. ''Transpiração Contínua Prolongada'' (Portuguese for "''Prolonged Continuous Sweating''") is the debut album by Brazilian alternative rock band Charlie Brown Jr., released on June 16, 1997 through Virgin Records. It was one of the band's many releases to be produced by the duo Rick Bonadio and Tadeu Patolla, and the latter's own band, Lagoa, made a guest appearance on the track "Escalas Tropicais" in one of their final credited works prior to their break-up. Other guest musicians include rappers P.MC and DJ Deco Murphy, famous for their partnership and their later work on hip hop group Jigaboo. According to the band's guitarist, Marcão, in a 2017 interview following the album's 20th anniversary, its name was an allusion to all the hard work they endured until they were able to record it. Hardcore punk (also known as simply hardcore) is a punk rock music genre and subculture that originated in the late 1970s. It is generally faster, harder, and more aggressive than other forms of punk rock. Alexandre Magno Abrão (9 April 1970 – 6 March 2013), known professionally as Chorão, was a Brazilian singer-songwriter, skateboarder, filmmaker, screenwriter and businessman. Luiz Carlos Leão Duarte Júnior (June 16, 1978 – September 9, 2013), better known by his stage name Champignon and also referred to affectionately as Champ or Champs by fans, was a Brazilian singer-songwriter, lyricist, bassist, beatboxer, record label owner and drummer famous for his work with bands Charlie Brown Jr., Revolucionnários, Nove Mil Anjos and A Banca.
