Tadesse Mamechae
Tadesse Mamecha (born 1941, also known as Tadesse Mamecha Gebre-Tsadik) is an Ethiopian sculptor. His most famous sculpture is "The Afar" which stands in front of the National Theater on Churchill Road. Addis Ababa (; am, አዲስ አበባ, , new flower ; also known as , lit. "natural spring" in Oromo), is the capital and largest city of Ethiopia. It is also served as major administrative center of the Oromia Region. In the 2007 census, the city's population was estimated to be 2,739,551 inhabitants.
