The southwestern tablelands comprise an ecoregion running from east-central to south-east Colorado, east-central and a small portion of eastern New Mexico, some eastern portions of the Oklahoma Panhandle, far south-central Kansas, and portions of northwest Texas. Jugurtha Tableland
The Jugurtha Tableland is a large mesa near the town of Kalaat es Senam, Tunisia, which stands almost above the Ez-Zghalma plain. long and wide, it covers a total area of nearly 80 hectares. The Tableland is a geologic feature known as an inverted relief. Millions of years ago, the hard limestone top of the mesa was actually the bottom of a valley. The Shire of Tableland was a local government area in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. It was based in the Hamersley Range and had an office at Tambrey Station until the 1940s, met at Coolawanyah Station in the late 1940s, and met at Wittenoom from the 1950s. Hampton Tableland is a feature that is found at the northern side of the current alignment of the Eyre Highway between Madura and Eucla in Western Australia, at the southern edge of the Nullarbor Plain. Earlier trans-Nullarbor tracks were located along different routes from the current highway. The tableland has a number of caves occurring on it, some with notable features. Windsor Tablelands
The Windsor Tablelands are a series of plateaus located in Far North Queensland, Australia. The Windsor Tableland and surrounding rainforest area are contained as part of the Wet Tropics of Queensland, sitting between the Daintree Rainforest and Mount Lewis National Park. Additionally, the region is contained in the state electorate of Cook and situated in the greater Tablelands Region of North Queensland. The Tablelands hug the mountain ranges of the Great Dividing Range with the nearest town being Wujal Wujal (44 km away). Tablelands Railway Line
The Tablelands railway line is a railway line in North Queensland, Australia. It was opened in a series of sections between 1887 and 1916. It commences at Cairns and at its maximum extent, reached Ravenshoe at the southern end of the Atherton Tableland. The rail system served by this line was unusual for Queensland in that the majority of lines that connected to it were built by private companies and later purchased by the Queensland Government. Tablelands Folk Festival
The Tablelands Folk Festival, the sometime 'Yungaburra Folk Festival', is a music festival held in the village of Yungaburra, in north Queensland, Australia. The first ever "Festival of the Tableland", was held in Herberton on 8 May and 9 May 1981. It then moved to Yungaburra in 1982, where it has been held ever since. Various individuals and groups – including locals, the Cairns Folk Club and the Townsville Folk Club – ran the Festival for the next 11 years. Since 1994, the Festival has been organised by a committee of North Queenslanders. The festival celebrates world-wide folk traditions through music, storytelling, circus, dance, and crafts, and features musicians, dancers, circus and fire artists, comedians and festival performers.
