Table Tennis England, formerly the English Table Tennis Association, is the Sports governing body, national governing body for table tennis in England, responsible for representing, coordinating, administering, marketing and developing the sport. Table Tennis England runs three separate national championships every year – for U10-U13 players; cadets and juniors; and seniors – as well as operating the British League, a Grand Prix series and other irregularly held tournaments, including the English Open.

Milton Keynes ( ) is a city and the largest settlement in Buckinghamshire, England, about north-west of London. At the 2021 Census, the population of its urban area was over . The River Great Ouse forms its northern boundary; a tributary, the River Ouzel, meanders through its linear parks and balancing lakes. Richard Bergmann
Richard Bergmann (10 April 1919 – 5 April 1970) was an Austrian and British international table tennis player. Winner of seven World Championships, including four Singles, one Men's Doubles, two Team's titles and 22 medals in total. He is considered to be one of the greatest players in history, only Viktor Barna has won more World Championship gold medals in singles. Table tennis career His 22 World Championship medals include seven gold medals; two in the men's team, one in the men's doubles at the 1936 World Table Tennis Championships with Viktor Barna and four times in the singles at the 1937, 1939, 1948 and 1950. Legacy Bergmann was inducted into the International Jewish Sports Hall of Fame in 1982, and into the International Table Tennis Foundation Hall of Fame in 1993 as one of twelve founding members. Ann Jones (tennis)
Ann Shirley Jones, (née Adrianne Haydon on 17 October 1938, also known as Ann Haydon-Jones) is a British former table tennis and lawn tennis champion. She won eight Grand Slam tennis championships in her career: three in singles, three in women's doubles, and two in mixed doubles. As of 2017, she serves as a vice president of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club. Career Table tennis Jones was born in Kings Heath, Birmingham, England. Her parents were prominent table tennis players, her father, Adrian Haydon, having been English number 1 and a competitor at world championships between 1928 and 1953. Ann, as a young girl, also took up the game, participating in five world championships in the 1950s, the best result being losing finalist in singles, doubles and mixed doubles all in Stockholm 1957. Karenza Mathews
Karenza Mathews (née Smith) is a female former international table tennis player from England. Table tennis career She represented England at five World Table Tennis Championships in the Corbillon Cup (women's team event) from 1967 to 1975. She also reached the quarter-finals of the Women's Doubles with Mary Shannon-Wright and the Mixed Doubles with Denis Neale in 1967. Karenza was England number one and won 231 senior caps and won a bronze medal in the team event at the European Table Tennis Championships in 1970. Jill Parker-Hammersley-Shirley is a former female table tennis player from England. Table tennis From 1972 to 1982 she won several medals in singles, doubles, and team events in the Table Tennis European Championships and in the World Table Tennis Championships She was ranked number one in England during the early 1970s. She also won four English Open titles. Personal life She changed her name from Jill Shirley to Jill Hammersley after marrying Nicky Hammersley on 3 July 1970. Lisa Lomas
Lisa Jane Lomas-Bellinger ( Bellinger, born 9 March 1967) is a British former table tennis player. She competed in the 1992 and 1996 Summer Olympics. Career Lomas won a silver medal at the 1992 European Table Tennis Championships, losing to Bettine Vriesekoop in the final. She was eliminated in the group stages of the women's singles competition at the 1996 Summer Olympics. Lomas won the women's singles event at the English National Table Tennis Championships four times, and the women's doubles event nine times. Lomas and Jackie Bellinger hold the record for most balls hit back and forth in 60 seconds; they set the record of 173 in 1993.
